Lord Vishnu, also popular as Shri Hari or Narayana among his devotees, is the supreme god in Vaishnavism in Hindu religion. He is the part of Trimurti, Brahma-Vishnu-Mahesh and known as the preserver or the sustainer of the universe. Lord Vishnu is always shown in dark-blue or black colored skin, completely adorned with precious jewels.
Lord Vishnu is usually depicted with four hands, with a conch shell and Sudarshan Chakra in two hands at the back. Hands at the front hold a Gada and a lotus flower. His necklace contains a Kaustubh gem and he wears a Vaijyanti garland along with a royal crown. He is always seen carrying yellow garments.
Lord Vishnu is seen sleeping on the coils of the serpent Adishesha floating in the ocean of milk known as Kshira Sagara along with his consort Goddess Lakshmi.
